Skyphos
As Skyphos ( . Greek σκύφος ; plural σκύφοι skyphoi ) refers to an ancient Greek drinking bowl with low foot and two horizontal handles near the mouth. The mythical goblet of Heracles was also a skyphos, which is why the vessel is also known as the Heracles goblet .
The vessel type is often depicted on Greek vases of the black-figure and red-figure style .
Comparable Roman drinking vessels are called scyphus .
