Solomon Jamar Hill (born March 18, 1991 in Harvey , Illinois ) is an American basketball player who has been under contract with the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA) since 2019 .

Career

After Hill for four years, the University of Arizona had played, he was in the 2013 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers selected at 23 point. Hill had an inconspicuous debut season in which he was only used in 28 games and the rest of his experience gained with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the D-League .

Due to the serious injury of star player Paul George, Hill moved to the starting line-up in his second NBA year and was on the starting line-up 78 times in 82 games of the season. He achieved an average of 8.9 points. With George's return to the 2015/16 season , Hills' stake in the game was reduced again.

The forward moved to the New Orleans Pelicans in the summer of 2016 , where he got a place on the starting line-up and was used in 71 of 80 games of the season from the start. On March 17, 2017, Hill set a career record with 30 points against the Houston Rockets .

After two disappointing years in New Orleans, Hill was given to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Chandler Parsons in the summer .
