The Sparkassen-Arena is a large sports hall in the Baden-Württemberg city of Balingen . It has a floor space of 54 m × 54 m and a floor area of 45 m × 32 m, offers 1540 seats and around 900 standing places and can be separated into two or three parts with roller curtains.
The hall is mainly used for games by the handball Bundesliga club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . It also serves as accommodation for major events such as the Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen.
The hall was opened in December 2006 after a construction period of ten months.
