The Spindelberg is 520  m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg in Germany . It is one of the highest peaks of the Eselshöhe mountain range .

The Spindelberg lies between the places Heinrichsthal and Jakobsthal . North of the summit, the boundaries of the hit districts Heinrichsthal, Heinrichsthaler forestry and Schoell Krippener forest . The southwestern mountain spur is called the Hochkopf . The Waldhaus Engländer lies between it and the Steigkoppe (502 m) adjoining it to the south . District road AB 2 ( Spessart-Höhenstraße ) leads over the summit . In the north the Spindelberg goes flat to the Schindershöh (522 m). Until 2011, the Degen-Weg , whose topographically highest point was on the Spindelberg, led over the mountain . The Speckkahl rises on the steeply sloping western slopes . In the valley east of the mountain flows at Oberlohr reason of Lohrbach .
