The Stärtchen and Freibusch nature reserve is located in the municipality of Nuthe-Urstromtal in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1474 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of June 10, 2002 . The 178.7 hectare nature reserve extends north of Holbeck , a district of the Nuthe-Urstromtal community. State road L 73 runs not far to the south .
