The nature reserve Kummersdorfer Heide / Breiter Steinbusch is located in the area of ​​the communities Am Mellensee and Nuthe-Urstromtal and the city of Trebbin in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1243, which consists of two partial areas, was placed under nature protection by ordinance of July 8, 2009 . The approximately 1002 hectare nature reserve extends northwest and southwest of Sperenberg , a district of the municipality of Am Mellensee. The B 101 runs to the west and the L 70 state road to the east .
