The Bärluch nature reserve is located in the municipality of Nuthe-Urstromtal in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .
The area, a lynx with the identification number 1584, was placed under nature protection by ordinance of September 18, 2000 . The approximately 160 hectare nature reserve extends east of Hennickendorf and west of Märtensmühle , both districts of the Nuthe-Urstromtal community. The Nuthe flows to the east and the L 73 state road to the west. Not far to the south-east is the 42-hectare Rauhes Luch nature reserve .
The area naturally belongs to the Luckenwalder Heide . It is characterized by depressions in which fens formed in the post-glacial period.
