Märtensmühle is a district of the municipality Nuthe-Urstromtal in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .
Geographical location
The place is northwest of the community center and is predominantly forested. The neighboring districts and communities are (clockwise, starting in the north): Ahrensdorf (Nuthe-Urstromtal) , Kliestow , Liebätz , Ruhlsdorf (Nuthe-Urstromtal) and Hennickendorf (Nuthe-Urstromtal) . The Nuthe flows in the eastern area of the district in a south-north direction.
history
The settlement was built in the 12th century by a locator Martin . The first documentary mention of the settlement belonging to Trebbin is known from 1157 . In 1307 monks from the Zinna monastery in Jüterbog acquired the mertensmole district . During the Thirty Years' War the place fell into desolation , but 1684 were again recorded as 16 farms. A church was never built: Märtensmühle was first churched in Luckenwalde and in 1598 came to Liebätz .
On December 6, 1993, Martensmühle was incorporated into the new Nuthe-Urstromtal community.

Economy, politics and infrastructure
In addition to a few craftsmen and small businesses, there is a wood processing company, a tire trade and a professionally operated fishing pond.
The mayor is Detlef Kauert.
The district road 7220 leads from Trebbin in a northerly direction into the village and in a south-westerly direction via Ruhlsdorf to Luckenwalde. The Teltow-Fläming transport company connects the district with line 757 to Luckenwalde and Trebbin.
