The Catholic parish church of Saint-Martin in Auxey-Duresses , a parish in the Côte-d'Or department in the French region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté , was built in the 15th century on the site of a castle. The church, consecrated to St. Martin of Tours , has a Marian triptych from the Renaissance and valuable furnishings from the 16th and 17th centuries. In 1927, the church was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The bell tower erected over the crossing is crowned by a pyramid roof made of tuff stone . The bell storey is pierced on all four sides by ogival sound arcades . The choir and the transept are covered by ribbed vaults with carved keystones . The vault ribs rest on consoles that are designed as angel figures. They hold heraldic cartouches with lambs and scales on them. Numerous grave slabs are set into the floor, and vine knives are depicted on some .

Leaded glass window

The lead glass windows of the church were made in the 19th century. A window depicting Saint Joseph bears the signature of Louis-Victor Gesta, who ran a glass painting workshop in Toulouse . The window with the representation of Saint Martin is marked with the year 1888. Like the window with the Lourdes Madonna and the representation of Jesus inviting the children, it comes from Joseph Besnard .
