The St. Agatha Church is the Roman Catholic parish church in the Glimbach district of the city of Linnich in the Düren district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
history
The Glimbach church was built around 1770 as a baroque hall church with a choir closed on three sides . But there was already a church in Glimbach before that. The oldest parts of the bell tower with a Romanesque portal are still preserved. The church was very badly damaged during World War II . The entire equipment was lost. In 1953 the church was rebuilt.
Furnishing
The church has simple, modern furnishings. The windows date from 1954 and were designed by Maria Katzgrau .
