description

The small hall church was built from quarry stones in 1690 , but its core is from the 15th century. It has a three-sided end of the choir and in the west a church tower aligned with the walls of the nave . The tower has an octagonal tower that is clad with sawn timber . Inside there is a bell from 1512 with the inscription Bert Apolt . A curved, slate-covered hood sits on top . The nave has pointed arched windows and is covered with a gable roof. On the north side there is a double flight of stairs to the galleries.

The interior is covered with a wooden barrel roof . It has galleries on three sides on round pillars . Their parapets are painted. The patronage box was built in at the end of the 17th century. A cafeteria dates from the Middle Ages . The pulpit altar from the 2nd half of the 18th century has acanthus , leaf capitals and rocaille .

The organ with 11 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Carl Heyder in 1877 and restored by Karl Brode & Sohn in 2012.
