Exterior construction

In the northern corner of the choir stands the bell tower, the substructure of which is built on a square floor plan. The octagonal structure, structured by corner pilasters , glare fields and arched sound arcades, is covered with an onion dome. On the south side of the church the two-storey sacristy and a sign are attached. There are murals on three sides of the sign. One scene shows the Trinity against the background of the Pfaffenhofen Church, another shows death in the form of the Grim Reaper with an arrow, scythe and hourglass, and another shows the resurrection of the dead at the Last Judgment .
