St. Lambertus (Hoetmar)
The Catholic parish church of St. Lambertus is a listed church building in Hoetmar , a district of Warendorf in the Warendorf district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
Presumably, the church is a peculiar religious foundation of Count Konrad von Rietberg . The building was erected around 1250, the community was first recorded as a parish in 1281 .
Of the original Romanesque building, only the two vaulted tower floors have been preserved. According to an inscription in the keystone of the north-west portal , the current nave was built between 1510 and 1516. It is a single-nave vaulted building with a 5/8 end, made of quarry stone. Four ribbed vaults span the foliage consoles . The three-part windows are provided with fish bubble tracery.
Furnishing
- Twelve figure-rich reliefs from salvation history , they come from a late Gothic carved altar and were created between 1470 and 1480
- A baptismal font , marked 1518
- A bust of St. Lambertus , made of wood, from the early 18th century
- A wooden relief of the Coronation of Mary from 1662

The organ was built in 1998 by the organ builder Speith . The slider chest instrument has 15 stops on two manuals and pedal . The Spieltrakturen are mechanically, the Registertrakturen electrically.
