description

The hall church received a west early 18th century church tower with welscher hood and high pointed helmet . The sound arcades in the tower have the year 1581 and are equipped with ashlar framed. The nave is covered with a mansard roof. The interior is spanned by a wooden barrel vault. On the long sides there are two-story galleries with glazed patronage boxes . The organ stands on the gallery in the west . It has twelve registers , divided into two manuals and a pedal , and was built around 1860 by an unknown organ builder .

The architectural structure of the pulpit altar from 1774 symbolizes the Old and New Testament by means of putti with tablets of the law , chalice and victory flag. On the west wall there are heavily reworked panels from 1589 depicting the Last Supper , the birth of Christ and the adoration of the kings . The two epitaphs with the portraits of those von Eckstett have been redrafted. The deceased stand in neat armor in front of a blind niche .

On June 29, 2019, the third bell for the church was added. It was heard for the first time in November 2019 on the anniversary of the church consecration 300 years ago.

In the 1980s the church was renovated.
