Stacey Wooley (born April 21, 1968 in Lebanon ) is a former American biathlete .

Stacey Wooley lives and trained in Newbury . She graduated from Dartmouth College . The sports teacher began biathlon in 1992 and contested her first race in the Biathlon World Cup in Hinton in 1994 with an individual . As 26th, she missed the points by one place. She reached these ranks for the first time in 1995 as 21st in a sprint in Oberhof . This season she also took part in the 1995 biathlon world championships in Antholz for the first time . Wooley was 19th of the individual, 39th of the sprint and eighth of the relay with Kristina Sabasteanski , Beth Coats and Ntala Skinner . The 1996 World Cup brought in Ruhpolding a 26th place in the individual, a 22nd place in the sprint, 14th place in the relay with Skinner, Sabasteanski and Joan Miller Smith , and fifth place with Deborah Nordyke , Skinner and Miller Smith in the team race. In the 1996/97 season Wooley was able to achieve her best result in an international top-class race at the 1997 Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie as 12th of the sprint. In the pursuit race she was 16th, in the individual 37th and with Skinner, Nordyke and Sabasteanski ninth with the US relay. Career highlight was the 1998 Winter Olympics from Nagano . At the competitions in Nozawa Onsen Wooley came on a 55th place in the individual, was 58th of the sprint and with Skinner, Kara Salmela and Sabasteanski in the relay race 15. Then it took until 2001 that Wooley came back to international operations. At the Biathlon World Championships 2001 in Pokljuka she reached 51st place in the individual, was 53rd in the sprint and 41st in the pursuit. She contested her last World Cup race in Antholz in 2002 . This was followed by races in lower-class competitions until 2003.
