Stanislaw Nikolajewitsch Oschtschepkow ( Russian Станислав Николаевич Ощепков , born March 21, 1989 in Perm ) is a former Russian ski jumper .

Career

Oschtschepkow, who starts for the ski club in Perm, made his international debut in the 2006/07 season in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup as well as in the FIS Cup . On January 12th 2007 he won a Continental Cup point for the first time with a 30th place in Sapporo on the Miyanomori hill . He also won points in the other two competitions on the Ōkurayama hill . After being largely unsuccessful in the other winter jumping competitions, he finished 103rd in the overall ranking. In the Summer Continental Cup 2007 he was able to record individual point wins in Velenje and Lillehammer . He ended the 2007/08 Winter Continental Cup season without winning points and without placing in the overall standings. At the Russian Championships in 2008 in Nizhny Tagil Oschtschepkow won the gold medal with the team.

In the 2008 Summer Continental Cup he was again unsuccessful. Only in the FIS Cup did he get a good placement, including a sixth place on the Štrbské Pleso ski jumps in the Štrbské Pleso of the same name . The 2008/09 season began as unsuccessfully as the previous season. Even in the course of the first Continental Cup competitions up to the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2009 in Štrbské Pleso, he was far from points and good placements. At the Junior World Championships he reached 15th place in the team competition with the Russian team. He jumped from the normal hill to 30th place.

Even after the Junior World Championship, Oschtschepkow remained in the Continental Cup without significant placements. It was not until March 14, 2009 that he jumped back into the points in Pragelato . In Kuusamo a week later, he surprisingly just missed a place in the top ten with 11th place. In the end he was 105th overall with 39 points. After winning only rarely points in the summer and fall of 2009, he received as part of the FIS Team Tour 2010 in Klingenthal a starting place in the qualifier for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Klingenthal. In doing so, however, he missed qualification. He was able to clearly qualify for the World Cup jumping in Willingen with 37th place, but missed his first World Cup points with 43th place in the first round. In the team world cup in Willingen he reached 12th place with the Russian team.

At the Russian Championships 2010 Oschtschepkow achieved the silver medal on the normal hill. He finished sixth on the large hill. Shortly afterwards he was given a starting place at the 2010 Ski Flying World Championships in Planica . With the team he reached ninth place after reaching 33rd place in individual jumping.

25 September 2010 Oschtschepkow reached in Kazakh Almaty ninth place after several failures again one of the top places in the Continental Cup. However, this remained his only point placement in the Continental Cup since the beginning of 2010 until his last Continental Cup on September 15, 2012 in Tchaikovsky on the Sneschinka . He finished the 2011/12 season in 108th place overall.
