Stanislaw Vitalievich Schmakin ( Russian Станислав Витальевич Жмакин * 25. June 1982 in Penza ) is a Russian ice hockey player who most recently with Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Continental Hockey League was under contract.

Career

Stanislaw Schmakin began his career as a hockey player in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga , in which he was active from 2001 to 2003 for Disel Penza and Yuzhny Ural Orsk . The attacker then moved to HK Lada Tolyatti , for whom he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2003/04 season . After he had started the following season at Lada, he ended it at its league rivals Salawat Julajew Ufa . From 2005 to 2008 the Russian was again on the ice for the HK Lada Tolyatti and won the IIHF Continental Cup at the European level in 2006 with his team . For the 2008/09 season Schmakin moved to HK ZSKA Moscow from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . For the capital city, he scored three goals in 54 games and prepared another eleven. For the 2009/10 season he was then obliged by the promoted Awtomobilist Ekaterinburg , which had taken over the license of the insolvent Chimik Voskressensk .

He spent the following season at Severstal Tscherepowez before he was signed by HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk in June 2011 . At the end of December 2011, he moved again within the KHL to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , for which he completed only eight games by the end of the season. In May 2012 he moved with Nikita Schchitow to HK Spartak Moscow , where he received a two-year contract, but returned to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in October of the same year.

In the summer of 2014 he played in a preparation game for Metallurg Novokuznetsk , but received no contract.
