Stars on the Bund China Open 2015

The Stars on the Bund China Open 2015 took place from September 1st to 6th, 2015 in Shanghai , People's Republic of China . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the PSA 100 rating category . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2015/16 and belonged to the PPE 50 rating category .

The defending champions were James Willstrop and Low Wee Wern . Willstrop was eliminated from the qualification, Wee Wern did not start again.

The participant fields consisted of 16 players each, four of which are reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Ivan Yuen in the men's and Teh Min Jie a spot in the main draw in the women each.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 100,000 for the men and $ 58,000 for the women.
