Stedebergen is a district of the municipality Dörverden in the district of Verden , Lower Saxony .

Stedebergen is north of Dörverden on the federal highway 215 , which leads past the place to the west. East of the village of Landwehrsee, with its campsites .

history

In 1967 a bronze disk from approx. 300 BC was made. Found. This suggests a very early settlement . The place was first mentioned in a document in 1320. Around 1960, gravel mining began on today's Landwehrsee .

Stedebergen was hit by witch hunts in 1606 . Wobbeke Twietemeyer got involved in a witch trial and died under torture.

On February 1, 1971, Stedebergen was incorporated into the municipality of Wahnebergen , which was incorporated into Dörverden on July 1.
