Stefan Ingwald Brentle (born July 4, 1972 in Bruchsal , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German actor , audio book , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Stefan Brentle is the son of Ingwald Brentle and Heidemarie Dicke. Brentle, who has a brother, grew up in Baden, in southern Germany, and attended Heidelberg College . He is a cyclist and regularly takes part in long-distance distance races, 24-hour bike races.

After finishing school, Brentle trained as a carpenter and carpenter. He then signed up for the German Navy and later became an officer in the Air Force Security Force. When he was unable to work due to an injury, the then twenty-seven year old rearranged his life and decided to become an actor.

He completed his acting training with Herbert Wandschneider, lecturer at the drama school Theater der Keller in Cologne.

First television roles

Brentle gained his first experience in the television business in the early 2000s in television series such as Verbotene Liebe , Die Nesthocker and Nikola .

Stage and theater

Brentle mainly plays on stages in northern Germany. Among other things, he is a member of the ensemble of the Imperial Theater Hamburg, Germany's largest crime theater.

From 2005 to 2007 he and Monty Arnold brought “Monty Arnold's social evenings” to the stage of the Loogensaal at the Hamburger Kammerspiele . These cabaret stage productions paid homage to Hanns Dieter Hüsch, who died in December 2005, and were based on the social evenings of Hanns Dieter Hüsch. At the same time he played his first stage thriller The Witcher based on Edgar Wallace at the Imperial Theater Hamburg from 2005 .

From 2009 to January 2012 Brentle was a guest at the Partout Theater in Lübeck , where he made his stage debut in the comedy Butterbrot by Daniel Barylli in the role of Martin Sterneck.
