Stefan Fleming

Stefan Fleming (* 1959 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor , speaker , author and presenter .

Life

The former Vienna Boys Choir, Stefan Fleming, studied at the Music Academy as a child and was then one of the youngest students at the Reinhardt Seminar . Afterwards he also completed musical training . During this time he played first leading theater roles at the Theater der Jugend, Theater an der Wien , the Vienna Volkstheater and the Berliner Kammerspiele.

Immediately after the seminar he began his career as a leading actor as the son of the Austrian cult television series Familie Merian . Other roles followed in Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Brazil.

In 1991 Stefan Fleming's first book Märchen zur Nacht (fairy tales for adults) was published. He also wrote and hosted a children's program for the ORF , which won the International Television Award in New York , produced an audio book series that received three German record awards, made literary programs for the radio , wrote successful scripts and taught film / television in the workshop in Vienna screenplay , direction and acting.

Stefan Fleming's voice can not only be heard in countless commercials and documentaries, he also lends his voice to the puppet Kasperl (from "Kasperl und Buffi"), since its creator Arminio Rothstein died in 1994.

Since 2003 Stefan Fleming has been playing theater again, a. a. in Altenburg Abbey (Lower Austria), the Vienna Intercult Theater and the Rabenhof Theater in Vienna. In 2004 he directed the television film A Paradise for Animals alongside Francis Fulton-Smith , which was followed two years later A Paradise for Horses . In 2005 , filming began on the extremely successful television series Der Winzerkönig , a co-production by ORF and ARD , followed in 2007 by the second season, which was broadcast in spring 2008.
