Stefan Nikolić (born April 16, 1990 in Nikšić , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin football player . He has been under contract with Qaisar Qysylorda in the Kazakh Premier League since the beginning of 2017 .
Career
Nikolić started playing football with FK Sutjeska Nikšić in his hometown at the age of eight . At the age of 14 he moved to FK Partizan Belgrade , before moving to OFK Belgrade a year later . There he was promoted to the first team in 2007, but was rarely used in the SuperLiga . After the season he went to Lierse SK in the Belgian EXQI League . With his team he achieved second place behind VV St. Truiden in the 2008/09 season . In the relegation, he missed promotion to the Jupiler League . With the beginning of the 2009/10 season he was loaned to first division club KSV Roeselare , where he finished the season in penultimate place and had to relegate.
Shortly after his return to Lierse SK, Nikolić left Belgium in August 2010 and moved to the Romanian top team FC Timișoara . There he was used in half of the games and won the runner-up in 2011 in League 1 behind Oțelul Galați . After this success, his team was denied admission to the 2011/12 season and had to relegate to League II . He then moved to Steaua Bucharest . There he won his first title with the championship in 2013 . In early 2014 he moved to Incheon United in South Korea. At the beginning of June 2014, his contract was terminated. He was without a club for six months before the Bulgarian first division club CSKA Sofia signed him. For the Bulgarians, he played 10 league games and moved to Croatia to NK Istra 1961 Pula for the 2015/16 season . Here he found his form again and scored 5 goals in 18 league games. For the second half of the 2015/16 season he moved to the Polish first division team Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza .
National team
On May 25, 2012 Nikolić played his only international match for the Montenegrin national team when he came on in the friendly against Belgium in the 88th minute for Simon Vukčević .
