Steib + Steib
Wilfrid and Katharina Steib (also Steib + Steib ) was an architecture office based in Basel . It mainly took part in architectural competitions for public buildings and housing estates. One thematic focus is the design of modern architecture in the context of historically evolved environments.
Katharina Steib (born June 7, 1935 in Basel ) is a Swiss architect and former university lecturer. She was a visiting professor at the ETH Zurich (1985–1987) and taught from 1995 to 1997 at the Technical University of Berlin .
Wilfrid Steib (born May 29, 1931 ; † January 21, 2011 in Basel ) was a Swiss architect.

- "Haus auf der Burg", research institute for 20th century music of the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel on Münsterplatz (conversion of an originally classical house)

The first draft drawn up by the Steib + Steib office in 2000 for the Frieder Burda collection in the Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden was not implemented . The reason was enormous public protests against the encroachment on the historic park substance through the planned felling of several dozen trees.
