history

The earliest mention of Stelborn goes back to the end of the 15th century when a list of goods and property that fell to Johan van Ole ... item dat Guyd tho Stercbole, dat dayt 3 times the karns ... is listed. The treasury register from 1536 then already lists three courtyards that existed until the end of the 18th century, after which one of the courtyards is divided into three parts. In the last quarter of the 20th century, new construction work began, which allowed the hamlet to grow to its present size.
