Stephan Haisch

Stephan Haisch (born February 21, 1967 ) is a flotilla admiral of the German Navy and the deputy commander of the Maritime Forces Staff (DEU MARFOR) in the naval command in Rostock .

Military career

Training and first uses

Haisch joined the German Navy with Crew VII / 86 and completed the one-year training as a naval officer at the Mürwik Naval School and on the training ship Gorch Fock . From 1987 to 1991 he studied economics and organizational science at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg . In 1991/92 it was used as a III. Watch officer on the speedboat S42 Iltis in third speedboat squadron in Flensburg - Mürwik , and a visit to the A-graduation courses. Service as a staff officer

In his last assignment as a staff officer, Haisch was employed as head of the Armed Forces I 6 (basic personnel requirements) division in the Federal Ministry of Defense in Berlin .

Service as flag officer

On April 1, 2019, Haisch was appointed deputy commander of the German Maritime Forces Staff (DEU MARFOR) in the naval command in Rostock. This was accompanied by the (temporary) appointment as flotilla admiral.
