The Styraburg Festival Steyr, founded by Hapé Schreiberhuber , has been held annually in May and November in Steyr since 2007 ,
The castle chapel, the castle gallery, the castle atelier, the castle barrel, the Lambergsaal and the old theater are play areas in Lamberg Castle .

The world premiere of “Steyrer Textgetön-7 songs based on poems by Dora Dunkl” for piano and mezzo-soprano, by Balduin Sulzer, took place on May 12, 2010 in the castle chapel with Alice Rath (soprano), Marlene Krisper (speaker) and the Styraburg Ensemble. On November 6th, 2014 the world premiere of Ensemble21 as part of the Styraburg Festival Steyr “The Fall of the Seagull” by Margarita Kinstner with Rita Hatzmann and Erich Knoth took place, furthermore the Upper Austrian premiere of the music theater “Cissy & Hugo a Caracas” took place “With Rita Hatzmann-Luksch and Georg O. Luksch in the newly opened castle barrel.
