Suderode

Suderode is a village in the Wülperode district of the city of Osterwieck in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt . Suderode is about 15 kilometers northeast of Goslar and about 25 kilometers northwest of Wernigerode . One of the sights is the church belonging to the Halberstadt parish.

history

On February 12, 1906, in a very high decree of the Prussian king, it was determined that the rural community Suderode in the district of Halberstadt would be incorporated into the manor district of Suderode, with the preservation of this manor district as such. On September 30, 1928 the manor district of Suderode was merged with part of the manor district of Stötterlingenburg , transforming it into a rural community Suderode.

Suderode was on 1 July 1950 with the neighboring Göddeckenrode in Wülperode incorporated that in the same day Dreirode has been renamed. On September 1, 1990, this community was renamed Wülperode again.
