Suniufe ( Suni-Ufe , Suni Ufe ) is an East Timorese Suco in government office Nitibe (Special Administrative Region Oe-Cusse Ambena ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Suniufe had an area of 44.93 km². Now there are 45.51 km². The Suco is located in the north of the administrative office Nitibe, on the coast of the Sawu Sea . To the southwest is the Suco Usitaco , east of Taiboco , that belongs to the administrative office of Pante Macassar . The river Oenuno ( Oenunu ) flows along the border with Taiboco .

On the north coast, at the mouth of the Oenuno, is the village of Fuabana ( Fuabano ), which together with Oelnanoe and Oenuno ( Oenoenoe , Oenunu , Oé-Nuno , Oe-Nuno ) and in neighboring Suco Taiboco Cabana ( Kabana ) and Bokon forms a settlement center . Also on the coast in the west, on the border with Usitaco, is the town of Uthaotfoo ( Uthautfoo ). In the center of the Sucos is the place Manuoef and on the southeast border to Taiboco the village Neofmuti . In the settlement center of Fuabano there is a primary school, the Escola Primaria Oenuno . A country road runs along the coast, which is connected by smaller roads with the places in the interior of the island.

The three Aldeias Cabana , Fuabano and Oelnanoe are located in the Suco .

Residents

1817 inhabitants (2015) live in the Suco, of which 891 are men and 926 women. The population density is 39.9 inhabitants / km². There are 448 households in the Suco. Almost 99% of the population list Baikeno as their mother tongue. Small minorities speak Bekais or Tetum Prasa .
