Super League (Europe) 2009/10
The Super League 2009/10 was the 17th season of the Super League in table tennis . It lasted from September 2009 to March 2010.
In the men’s competition, 12 teams started, four from Slovakia, three from the Czech Republic, two each from Austria and Slovenia and one from Hungary. Three groups of four played a sequence in a round trip. The first and second teams from these groups then competed in a play-off system for places one to six. The remaining teams played from places 7 to 12 in the play-off process.
Twelve teams were registered for the women, five from Austria, three from Hungary, two from the Czech Republic and one each from Slovakia and Croatia. In three groups of four, a round trip was played in the mode everyone against everyone. Then the first and second of these groups played for places 1 to 6, the rest for places 7 to 12.
Each team provided two doubles and four singles. There were two doubles and eight singles, which were carried out according to the federal system . A competition is abandoned when a team has reached six points.
