Super League (Europe) 2005/06
The 2005/06 Super League was the 13th season of the Table Tennis Super League . It lasted from September 2005 to March 2006.
For the first time teams from Croatia and Slovenia took part.
In the men’s race, 12 teams started, three from Austria, three from the Czech Republic, two from Hungary, two from Slovakia, one from Croatia and one from Slovenia. Three groups of four played a sequence in a round trip. The first and second teams from these groups then competed in a play-off system for places one to six. The remaining teams played from places 7 to 12 in the play-off process.
Eight teams were registered for the women, two each from Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, one from Croatia and one from Slovenia. Hungary was not represented. In two groups of four, a round trip was played in the mode everyone against everyone. Then the first and second of these groups played for places 1 to 4, the rest for places 5 to 8.
Each team provided two doubles and four singles. There were two doubles and eight singles, which were carried out according to the federal system . In the group games, the competition was abandoned when a team had reached six points. In the play-offs all possible games were played, i. That is, results like 6: 4, 8: 2, 10: 0 were possible.
