Supreme Court Police

Founded in 1949, the Supreme Court of the United States Police is a small United States law enforcement agency located in Washington, DC . It consists of 125 employees.

Task is to ensure the safety of the Supreme Court of the United States (US Supreme Court). The police operate property protection and ensure the safety of employees and visitors for the service building and its surroundings. She also supports visitors.

There are the following organizational units: Uniformed Services (Uniformed Services), security services (Protective Services), crisis services (Threat Assessment Unit), background investigations (Background Investigation Unit), Guard of Honor (Honor Guard), main engagement forces (Key Response Squad) and dangerous and decommission (HazMat / Bomb Response).

Law enforcement officers are trained centrally at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center located in Glynn County .
