Suqian ( Chinese  宿遷 市  /  宿迁 市 , Pinyin Sùqiān shì ) is a district-free city with about 4.88 million inhabitants and an area of ​​8,341 km² in the east Chinese province of Jiangsu . 783,376 people live in the actual urban settlement area of ​​Suqian (2010 census).

Administrative division

Administratively, Suqian is made up of two districts and three counties. These are:

  • Searchg district (宿 城区), 866 km², 850,000 inhabitants;
  • Suyu District (宿豫 区), 1,236 km², 680,000 inhabitants;
  • Circle Shuyang (沭阳县) 2,297 square kilometers, 1.76 million inhabitants, the capital: greater community Shucheng (沭城镇);
  • Siyang County (泗阳 县), 1,213 km², 950,000 inhabitants, capital: Zhongxing Municipality (众 兴镇);
  • County Sihong (泗洪县), km² 2729, 980,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Qingyang (青阳镇).
