Swiss and The Others

Swiss is a German musician from Hamburg with roots in Switzerland . He has said goodbye to hip-hop since 2014 and is now on the road with his punk rock band Swiss & Die Andern .

Career

Swiss grew up in Hamburg- Altona . In 2005 he met the producer Gin; the duo called themselves Swissgin from then on. In 2006 and 2007 the two albums (available for free download ) were released, each track a hit and amoktape . His third album, It Can Only One Orders , was released on February 29, 2008 through music distributor Groove Attack . The music video produced for the single Missglickt was created in collaboration with the Hamburg comedian Buddy Ogün , who could be heard on the previous albums on Skits and has since worked regularly with Swiss.

Two music videos of Swiss were under the of Aggro TV broadcast television format Shut up published.

666 Tage Klapse is the link to the album Wixxxtape # 1 (Die Flut) , released two years later on June 6, 2013 , on which Ferris MC , Toni der Assi and Sleepwalker are also represented and for the first time a collaboration with his band comes to the other . With these he released the EP Schwarz Rot Braun in the following year and in January 2015 he and his band released the album Große Freiheit , which reached number 44 in the charts. Among other things, it contains the song Für Dich Kampf , in which Joachim Witt is a guest singer. With the song Missing You followed in the same year an appearance on Inas Nacht on ARD .

The album Missglückte Welt followed in 2016 and Riot for Love in 2018 .

In 2017 he also worked as an actor in the movie Tiger Girl . In December 2019 he released the EP Phönix aus der Klapse with Ferris MC .

Swiss has a master's degree in German.

Style and content

From 2006 to 2008, Swiss published a closely related storyline called Tales of the Road , which consists of three songs. Violent acts of affect are discussed , which are viewed critically in the end and turn out to be morally wrong. In the first part ( The Consequence ), Swiss, the lyrical self, receives a call from his wife, who tells him that an acquaintance has sexually coerced her. Swiss then visits him with a friend and both beat him up - he dies from the consequences of these injuries. At the end of the song, Swiss gets another call from his wife, who asks him when he will be there because the friend is at the door. In the second part ( The Bloody Path ), Swiss rushes home. Meanwhile, the friend enters the apartment to rape her . The woman kills the alleged rapist in self-defense. When Swiss arrives at home, he sees that the police have already surrounded the building. When he is arrested for the act in the first part, his wife suffers a nervous breakdown and faints. In the third part ( The Cell ), Swiss wakes up in a prison cell, frightened that he has done something he should or did not want and realizes that he has made a serious mistake after panic . Swiss ties in with this storyline in another song on his album Es kann nur ein befehlen ( The boy from the neighborhood ), in which a little boy kills his mother's friend who violently oppressed and abused her (see also: Tyrannenmord ). In 2010, Swiss published a music video ( Big City Legends ) with Pat Cash , which is about three men getting to know a girl at a party, making her defenseless by knockout drops and taking her home to rape her - her face is covered. Meanwhile, one of these men calls a fourth man who is supposed to join them. After this has also assaulted her, he turns her around to see her face and is shocked to discover that she was his sister. This topic was last taken up in his 2011 album 666 Tage Klapse ( Not 1 word ) when Swiss was cheated on by his partner, but she told him out of fear that the man with whom she had cheated on him had attacked her. Swiss then drives to this man - who already suspects that Swiss is on his way to him - and a fight ensues between the two, in which one is stabbed. Who is dead remains unclear. The direct reference to stories of the street is made by the text passage years ago, he has done such a weirdo .

In 2007, Swiss came under criticism for his song The Last School Day , because he describes the rampage at a school from the perpetrator's point of view and gives the reasons that prompted this perpetrator to act. A similar topic was taken up in 2009 by the rapper Kaas on his album TAFKAAZ: D ( The Album formerly known as Amok Payday: D ).

Since 2012, Swiss has added a 666 to his artist name because his artist name contains the letter S three times , which he has been writing in the form of a 6 since then . To this end, he has published The 6 Commandments of 666 , in which it says, among other things, that the S is the sign of the snake and 666 is the sign of the beast that speaks like the snake.

In 2014, Swiss said goodbye to rap altogether and from now on is only on the road with his punk rock band Swiss & Die Andern , with whom he regularly goes on tour and releases albums.
