Galatasaray protest
With a score of 3: 3 in the final of the play-offs , Galatasaray announced on the day after the third win that they would not play the last game of the final series against Fenerbahce . With this, the club reacted to some decisions of the Turkish basketball association. Galatasaray was imposed by the association with a spectator ban for the sixth final game, which related to the driving behavior of the supporters in game 4. The Galatasaray board of directors was of the opinion that Fenerbahce would not be banned if their fans behaved in a similar manner and that there was unequal treatment. Galatasaray also complained about the appointment of the referee Recep Ankarali.
Galatasaray did not play the last (and decisive) game for the championship and Fenerbahce was declared the champion of the 2013/14 season.
