TOP25
As TOP25 who called German Association of Women Engineers (dib) a price with which he's 25 most influential occasion of his 25th anniversary in 2011, engineers excelled in Germany. Women with German citizenship or a place of work in Germany who had completed a degree or a doctorate in engineering were used for the selection. The current position occupied by the engineer was decisive for the final selection. The selection was made by an independent jury.
Jury member Rita Süssmuth said of the TOP25 award on September 27, 2011: “Such prizes highlight these women and show: a lot has changed. We had to choose today! I was surprised how many women there were. The decision wasn't always easy. Ten years ago the picture was clearly different. "
