history

Soccer

World War II and post-war period

At the time, the first soccer team was still playing TSV Münster at the end of the 1942/43 season in the promotion round to Gauliga Württemberg within Group I. With 3: 9 points, however, the team ended up in last place and thus missed the promotion. For the 1946/47 season , Münster rose again to the second-rate state league Württemberg . At the end of the season you had to relegate to 12th and last place with just 7:37 points.

As a participant in the 2nd amateur league, the team qualified for the WFV Cup of the 1954/55 season . There the team failed in the first round with 1: 4 at SV Göppingen .

Current time

In the 2003/04 season the club played in the district league A Stuttgart and finished fifth there with 40 points. In the 2008/09 season achieved the championship with 53 points and thus promotion to the district league. There, the class could be held “easily” in the following season with 45 points. At the end of the 2011/12 season, the championship also succeeded here with 76 points, which allowed the team to move up to the Württemberg State League. Here with only 23 points at the end of the season the 15th place and thus the direct relegation was back. Back in the district league they achieved the runner-up in the 2014/15 season with 67 points (the champions SC Stammheim also had 67 points, but the better goal difference). This entitled to participate in a playoff for promotion to the state league. There they met 1. FC Donzdorf , where they failed with 1: 2. After several double-digit table placements, the club had to relegate to the district league A again after the 2017/18 season. The team still plays there today.
