action

The scene with the funeral was on the Marktplatz Abensberg shot

The three young students Quirinalis, Joker and Wursti live in a small town in Lower Bavaria and are committed to "the largest Bavarian self-help group for outsiders - the SPD " . Shortly before the state elections , they want to help the SPD win. To do this, they not only stick up election posters , but have also come up with a special campaign: On the day of the election, they want to disrupt the funeral procession for a deceased local brewery owner with a banner , leaflets and loudspeaker announcements. The banner accidentally falls on the coffin. The three friends are arrested and are now even more exposed to public hostility. After the big election victory of the CSU and the corresponding poor performance of the SPD, Quirinalis no longer wants to stay at home. However, King Ludwig II appears to him at the station and changes his mind.

Others

Author and director Konstantin Ferstl processed numerous autobiographical elements in his script, for example the choice of his home country as the setting or his own membership in the SPD.

The shooting took place in autumn 2007 with great support from the local population in the Kelheim district, especially in Abensberg and Kelheim itself as well as parts of Neustadt an der Donau . It was the first film role for the three main actors.

Originally, in addition to Ottfried Fischer and Olivia Pascal, Elmar Wepper and Robert Giggenbach were also supposed to play as parents of the main characters, but this could not be achieved due to deadlines. The director Konstantin Ferstl wanted to draw a parallel between the growing up of rebellious adolescents "then and now" by using the leading actors from Somehow and Anyway . As another nod to this TV series is days like years wursti, the film Son of Ottfried Fischer, exactly as it did "Sir Quickly" with a scooter on the road.

In 2011 Konstantin Ferstl shot the feature film Trans Bavaria , the first part of which shows numerous parallels in content to days and years . The roles of Joker and Wursti were again embodied by the same actors. Some of the supporting actors were there again. The main role of Quirinalis was newly cast.
