Tangier-Tétouan ( Arabic طنجة تطوان, Tarifit ⵜⴰⵏⵊⴰ-ⵜⵉⵟⵟⴰⵡⵉⵏ ) was one of the 16 regions of Morocco until the administrative reform of 2015 and is located in the north of the kingdom. Since then, all of its provinces have belonged to the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma region .

In the entire area of Tanger-Tétouan, 2,470,372 people (as of 2004) lived on a total area of 11,570 km². The capital of the region was Tetouan .
economy
The main economic activities were divided between agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishing (43.5%), followed by trade (14.4%). Crafts and industry were represented with 13.7%.
