Tena Lukas (born May 10, 1995 ) is a Croatian tennis player .

Career

Lukas, who started playing tennis at the age of five, prefers the clay court according to the ITF profile. She mainly competes in tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , in which she has won eight singles and five doubles titles so far.

Her greatest success so far was winning the $ 25,000 tournament in Aschaffenburg , the Schönbusch Open 2015 ; she defeated the French Fiona Ferro 7: 5 and 6: 4 in the final .

She played her first match on the WTA Tour in 2013 at the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open , where she lost to Despina Papamichail 1: 6 and 1: 6 in the first round of qualification . Two years later she was able to win her opening match of the qualification against Shelby Rogers , before she was eliminated in the second qualifying round against Richèl Hogenkamp with 0: 6, 6: 4 and 3: 6.

She achieved her best world ranking so far in singles in October 2018 with rank 241 and in doubles in August 2018 with rank 309.

In 2015 she competed in the 2nd tennis Bundesliga for the TC Weiß-Blau Würzburg .
