Teresa Mary Palmer (born February 26, 1986 in Adelaide , South Australia ) is an Australian actress .

life and career

Palmer was born in Adelaide in 1986 to an investor and a nurse. Her film career began in 2005 with a supporting role in the horror film Wolf Creek . The following year she starred in 2:37 , a drama directed by Murali K. Thalluri. For her portrayal of Melody she was nominated for Best Female Leading Role at the Australian Film Institute Awards. In the 2009 film Bedtime Stories she played the role of Violet Nottingham on the side of Adam Sandler . In 2010 she was seen at the side of Nicolas Cage in Duel der Magier . In 2011 she appeared in a supporting role alongside Alex Pettyfer in I'm Number Four . In 2013, Palmer starred alongside Nicholas Hoult in the zombie film Warm Bodies , based on the novel by Isaac Marion. She plays the role of Julie , a girl who falls in love with a zombie.

Private life

Since December 21, 2013, Teresa Palmer is married to the actor and director Mark Webber . They have two sons (* 2014 and 2016) and one daughter (* 2019). Palmer is friends with Phoebe Tonkin , with whom she runs a joint fitness website.
