The Territorial Prelature Isabela ( Latin : Praelatura Territorialis Isabellapolitana ) is a Roman Catholic territorial prelature based in Isabela City on the island of Basilan in the Philippines .
Pope Paul VI founded with the Bull Providens Dei on October 12, 1963 the territorial prelature Isabela from territorial cession of the Archdiocese of Zamboanga and subordinated it to this as a suffragan . It includes the province of Basilan .
