Teterboro is a borough in Bergen County , New Jersey , USA .
history
Teterboro was named after New York investment banker Walter C. Teter, who bought land to build a race track there. The Teterboro parish was founded on March 26, 1917 by merging the Moonachie, Little Ferry, and Lodi Township districts. On July 5, 1918, Hasbrouck Heights was incorporated into the parish. The name was changed to Bendix Borough on April 14, 1937, but a short time later, on June 1, 1943, it was again named after Teter.
Geography and population
