history

In 1324 the village of Thüritz is mentioned as Thuricz when Hans and Heinecke von Kröcher sold Kalbe Castle and the associated villages to Albrecht von Alvensleben . Until the end of the 19th century, the Thüritz large stone grave was located in the "Thüritzer Gehren" parcel of the then not yet separated Feldmark Thüritz, three kilometers west of Winterfeld .

A windmill stood north of the village to the left of the road to Lüge at the beginning of the 20th century.
