Career

society

After several years of ballet lessons , Thaís was able to convince her parents of her desire to play football as a child and then played successfully in mixed youth football teams in her home country. As a young talent at CA Juventus , she was appointed to Brazil's youth team for the first time in 2008. At the age of fifteen, she was directed by the then national coach Kleiton Lima into the Santos FC team , where she quickly became a regular in the first squad. After the women's squad was dissolved in 2011, Thaís and her teammate Bia Zaneratto moved to the Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels in the South Korean WK League after brief engagements at various Brazilian clubs in spring 2013 .

The return of Thaisinha to Santos FC was announced on January 21, 2020.

National team

From 2008 Thaís was regularly appointed to the squad of Selecão feminino in the U17 area, which she led in 2010 as captain to win the title of the South American Championship in her own country. In December of the same year, under her discoverer Kleiton Lima, she made her first appearances in the A-squad of the national team on the occasion of the four-nation tournament in her hometown of São Paulo. Then she was part of the selection for the tournaments of the 2011 World Cup in Germany , the XVI. Pan American Games in Guadalajara and the XXX. Olympic Games in London .

In 2012, Thaís ran again for the U20 youth team. Since late 2015, it has again been increasingly taken into account for the first squad of the national team.
