Criticism

  • www.musikansich.de 19/20 points ( high- flyer): "With The Collection 1973-84 you get an impressive insight into the early complete works of Bruce Springsteen (...) This box is a really dignified alternative to a classic best- Of album or a bare download, as individual pieces are not torn from the album context. The 16-page booklet could have been a bit more informative, but otherwise this compilation is really successful. "
  • Andreas Haug (www.rockszene.de) - August 20, 2010 - 9/10 points: "This box compilation is very recommendable for really interested Springsteen newcomers as well as for fans who own two or three original albums" from the past "and want to complete their collection or whose vinyl turntable has meanwhile been mothballed. In addition to the big hit albums, the 1974 album " The Wild, The Innocent And The E Street Shuffle " proves to be a really great album, depending on which Springsteen you choose rather appreciates the stadium rocker, the melancholy solo singer-songwriter or the musician in a handmade 1970s analog robe.
