action

The film is set in India when the country was still under British colonial power .

The internment of the Bhanta nomads by the British military police turns their chief Sultan into a freedom fighter. The night after the deportation , he breaks out with his warriors and, supported by the local population, fled to the Himalayan mountains . The chain of Sultan's raids does not stop. Fort Captain Stafford, who also ordered the internment, can no longer deal with the problem. His predecessor, police officer Young, a supporter of anthropology , is to help him with a special force. Stafford sabotages any attempt by Young to resolve the conflict peacefully. He sets traps for Sultan without getting hold of him. But the fighting brings great losses to both sides.

Young secretly meets with the Sultan to get him to give up and prevent further bloodshed; but this is not ready for it. In another skirmish, he is wounded, hands over his son to Young and shoots himself before Stafford can arrest him.

criticism

The Evangelical movie watchers sums up his opinion as follows: "This film is an example of ideological deception of the audience, thus offering next (Indian) Wild West entertainment plenty to talk about." The lexicon of international film noted succinctly in the film if it were a lavishly equipped and dearly cast adventure film.
