After a nuclear war , humanity has fallen back into post-apocalyptic barbarism. A group of men led by Mikal pursues Alee and Vera from the Sisterhood ; a group of female warriors who have various magical abilities. After they succeed in confronting both, a fight ensues. The women decide this for themselves through the use of their magical powers. Vera has the power of healing , while Alee can use thought power to move objects.

The beaten men return to their leader, Lord Barak. This plans the attack on a settlement of Lord Neufield; Mikal reluctantly joins the plan. During the fighting, Marya manages to escape, while her brother dies at Mikal's hand. Marya has supernatural abilities, she can talk to animals. Your faithful companion is the falcon Lady Shree . On her search for a connection to the sisterhood, Marya ends up in a tavern where Mikal is also staying. Luckily for her, Alee and Vera turn up shortly afterwards. It comes to a fight that the women can win again. Marya joins them, and together they leave the tavern under the eyes of the vengeful Mikal. He gathers three comrades-in-arms and takes up the pursuit of the women.

During the night, they manage to take Vera prisoner during an attack. With this they retreat to the Barak camp, while Alee and Marya pursue them. Barak wants Vera for himself, but Mikal has other plans. He wants to use them as bait to provoke an attack by the sisterhood . He trusts in destroying the attacking women in battle. Marya's loyal falcon has meanwhile tracked down Barak's lair; Alee and Marya plan an attack after sunset. In the meantime, however, Mikal and Vera leave the camp unnoticed. During the night the two women attack the camp, but Marya, who is inexperienced in combat, is soon captured. However, since Alee is causing great damage, Lord Barak proposes a bargain: the freedom for Marya against the immediate stop of the fighting. Alee accepts the deal; both leave the Baraks camp and pursue Mikal.

In order to catch up with Mikal's enormous lead, the two women ride through the “forbidden zone” inhabited by mutants . Soon they are attacked by mutants, during the fight Marya falls into a cave . Alee follows her, as do the mutants, and the battle continues underground. After the women are victorious again, they find an armored entrance door in the cave. Alee knows that previous generations once lived underground. They manage to open the door. Behind it is a former military facility with still working computer systems.

Alee tells Marya of old legends according to which the Kingdom of Russia and the Kingdom of USA fought a great war. This made God very angry, which is why he sent a flash of light that killed almost all people. Upon further exploration of the system they find the armory , where the women with M16 - assault rifles to arm. Finally they find the garage where they take possession of an armed armored vehicle . They are attacked by mutants again soon afterwards , but thanks to the concentrated firepower they are now able to kill them by the dozen.

In the meantime, Mikal meets Lord Jak and his followers. It turns out that both groups are on their way to the mountains of Calcarra. They join Jak, although his men are concerned about Vera's magical powers. After all, Mikal speaks for the first time about his motives. He explains to Vera that the sisterhood once took his sister away from him. The next day, Mikal notices Alee and Marya's armored car chasing them. He fires a missile weapon at the car , but fails to hit. The women respond with grenade fire , under which the men flee. Mikal leads the group, he has Vera with him. Meanwhile, the women's grenades decimate Lord Jak's troops following him.

Vera manages to escape, and she is able to save herself in the women's armored car, while Mikal has to withdraw because of its deadly firepower. Together with the remaining men, he retreats behind the city walls of Calcarra. The women decide to attack the city in which his ruler Lord Kragg dungeon numerous women of the Sisterhood held captive. Since the car does not fit through the narrow streets of the city, the three women climb over the wall. There, however, Kragg has set a trap for them: After they have freed some tied up sisters of the Sisterhood , they find themselves surrounded by Kragg's troops. However, Kragg did not expect the M16 assault rifles with which the women can assert themselves against the overwhelming odds. Marya discovers Mikal, turns him on and shoots him. However, she does not have the heart to kill him in cold blood.

While trying to free the remaining sisters from the dungeon, the women run out of ammunition . At this moment the light figure of a Catholic nun , the founder of the Sisterhood, appears . She tells Alee and Vera to drop their weapons and go back to their magical abilities. She also breaks the chains of all women still captured. When Kragg's men storm the dungeon, the women are gone; they have teleported in front of the city walls .

Mikal watches the women move away from the city. Alee, Vera and Marya take one last look at Mikal. This buries his grudge against the sisterhood .
