Theo West
Theo West (born February 1, 1968 in Witten ) is a German entertainer and reporter .
He studied at the Institute for Journalism at the Technical University of Dortmund .
His television career began with a two-minute sketch when it was brokered by the Dortmund cable pilot project. He moderated the first broadcast of the Offene Kanal Dortmund to play a sketch in a live broadcast of the WDR . Since then he has been on the road as an outside reporter for numerous TV productions.
Early 1990s -years he got his own little regular show "Theo revved" in North Rhine-Westphalia regional program of RTL . He became known from 1992 to 1999 in the cast of the RTL consumer show “ How please ?! ", In which he was on the road as" Postman "and" MahnMan ". Further examples as external reporters are productions such as “Veronas Welt”, “Big Diet”, “Voll witzig”, “Planet Comedy” and “Star Weekend”.
On April 26th, 2009 he was seen in the VOX show “ The Perfect Dinner ” and on August 22nd, 2010 in the show “Promi Kocharena”. For the TV channel ZDFneo he worked with Maite Kelly in 2010 and 2011 in a docutainment series on fraudulent labeling of foodstuffs, entitled Da I'm sick . For this show, he and Kelly were awarded the 2012 Environmental Media Prize.
