Theresa Martini

Theresa Martini (born September 13, 1989 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater and film actress .

Life

Theresa Martini attended the Musikgymnasium Wien in Vienna's 7th district from 1995 to 2007 , where she received extensive musical training. She then studied musicology , Italian and musical education (majoring in singing) and completed a bachelor's degree in theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna . After initial internships and assistant directorships at various Viennese theaters ( Burgtheater , Dschungel Wien), Theresa Martini completed her acting studies at the August Everding Theater Academy and at LAMDA in London from 2011 to 2015 .

Already during her studies she could be seen on German stages like the Maxim Gorki Theater , the Metropoltheater Munich and on the concert stage of the BR . After her studies she played at the Stadttheater Pforzheim , at the Bauturm Theater Cologne , and took over the role of Cathérine Zwelferin in Barbara Albert's multi-award-winning film Mademoiselle Paradis . Her debut feature film, Fuge , received the New German Cinema Award in 2015 . Theresa Martini has lived in Vienna since 2018.
