Thiadiaye is a town in the Mbour département of the Thiès region , in western Senegal .

Geographical location

Thiadiaye is located in the southeast of the Mbour department , halfway between the cities of M'bour and Fatick on the border with the Fatick region .

Thiadiaye is located 85 kilometers southeast of Dakar , 47 kilometers southeast of the regional prefecture of Thiès and 29 kilometers east of M'bour .

The national road N 1 runs through Thiadiaye . It connects the city to the west and northwest with M'bour , Saly Portudal , Nguèkhokh , Diamniadio , Bargny and the major cities of the Dakar metropolitan area and to the east with Fatick , Kaolack , Birkelane , Kaffrine , Malem Hodar , Koumpentoum and Tambacounda and with the Malian border at Kidira .
